Veterans 1st Architecture was commissioned to renovate an
existing suite within the Charlie Norwood VA in Augusta, Georgia
as a design build collaborative with Nacci Construction. The goal
was to to provide a welcoming and calming space for patients
undergoing an uncomfortable procedure. Space was
dedicated to give each patient their own personal dressing
room complete with a built in vanity and space to store their
belongings as well as a private waiting room. The private spaces
are connected to the mammography xray room to insure the
patient never has to leave the space during their procedure.
